I started Weight Watchers yesterday (Sunday, March 25). I am so excited to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight. Unfortunately, after my trip to Las Vegas last week, I saw the scale slowly creep up a few pounds. NOT GOOD. I thought that I would use my blog as a source to share my daily eating habits, some exercise habits & new recipes!
I am given a daily amount of 36 points; I get quite a bit because I am still an nursing mother (this has me burning about 500 calories a day).
I will start with today's food diary! (I will do my best to do these everyday)
Breakfast - Organic apple oatmeal, one piece of whole grain toast 4pts
Snacks - Apple, banana, 2-100 calorie packs 4pts
Lunch - Tuna mix sandwich on thin bread 6pts
Dinner - 2 servings of white rice, chicken slow cooker meal 12pts
Dessert - 1/4 cup of chocolate trail mix, skinny cow ice cream 9pts
I ended with 35 points!
We are trying lots of new recipes! One of mine and Bryan's goals is to eat out less!! We are going to eat out only once a week.
BENTLEY NEWS:
Holy moly! There is SO much going on with Bentley right now. He has been signing and talking sooo much recently. Some of his new signs are "nigh-night" and "all done." He is also saying "night" and "hot." He is learning new things everyday! He took several steps while we were in Vegas, all by himself, but he is still not walking yet. Lastly, he has been eating A LOT of food lately. We went through a rough patch of him not wanting to eat/try anything. Today, he ate Greek yogurt and cheerios for breakfast, about 7 bites of my tuna sandwich, half of my banana, a granola bar and fruit snacks for lunch, chicken, rice and cheese for dinner and a fruit snack for dessert! He is becoming quite a little piglet!
We recently had his Spring/Easter pictures taken! They came out SO wonderfully! Here is a sneak peak of some of them!
