Bentleys Father's Day gifts for Papa & Grandpa ...

Bentley & I made some cute art pieces for his Papa & Grandpa for Father's Day :)

I only got to take a picture of Grandpa's... but Papa's was the same, it just says Papa at the top :) They both loved these gifts so much! Something they can cherish forever<3

Hanging out with Mommy....

I decided to do a little photo-shoot before Bentley's bath time/bed time, while we were on the ground playing and doing some tummy time! He is growing so fast!! He is rolling to his stomach all the time, and holds his head up so well! Today we worked on sitting up by himself, he is still a little wobbly but he is trying hard to sit by himself! I think he will be sitting unassisted in a few weeks, definitely by 6 months!

Bryan will be off on Bentley's 5 month "birthday" on the 29th, which is exciting! We will probably take Bentley to the park, and go down to our apartments swimming pool and swim for a little while!

Until next time... :)

Shadow Box...

Bentley's Great-Grandma Gilba gave us a shadow box to use for some of his momentums! I finally got a chance to put it together! I LOVE IT!! :)

Inside:
1) Coming Home outfit :)
2) "It's A Boy" napkin from his baby shower
3) His beanie from the hospital
4) Picture of him at only a few hours old!
5) His bracelet from the hospital
6) Ultrasound from 15 weeks

My little bald baby....

We decided it was time to cut Bentley's "Jason Voorhees" hair! We want it to grow in evenly and thick! So we took the clippers to it last night! :D Of course, we loved his long hair; but he looks soooo much better without his scraggly hair! Hehe! I love my little bald baby boy!

A little behind....

...oops! I haven't been very good at keeping up with this blog! I'm definitely going to try and do better; key word there: TRY! Hehe.

Not too much has been going on lately. We have been enjoying the summer heat by taking Bentley to the pool. He loves swimming! Grandma bought him a floaty for him to sit in that has an attached shade thing on it! It's very cool!

This past weekend was very busy! Saturday we went to a good friends graduation party for a little while, and then went and saw Bryan's parents (this was the first time we have seen them in almost a year, and Bentley's first time meeting them.) Then on Sunday, it was Bryan's first Father's Day! We had such a nice day! We went to Pepe's Restaurant with all of our family for brunch, then went to a local car show with my parents and sisters (Bentleys grandparents and aunts), then got some Froyo, and headed back to Bentley's grandparents house to watch the new Chronicles of Narnia movie! Bryan made out with gifts too! Bentley "made" him a plate at Painted Earth with his foot prints, I bought him a shirt (that hasn't arrived yet), my parents got him a nice "Dad" shirt and some "Daddy" outfits for Bentley, and Bentley's Papa & Nana gave him a cute "New Dad" picture frame with a picture of Bentley and him in it! Such a great first fathers day!!

We have many upcoming adventures! For 4th of July weekend, we will be going up one night and staying with  Nana & Papa in a cabin in the mountains! We will be bbq'ing, playing some games, and walking around some shops! It will be fun! Then a few weeks later, Bryan goes on vacation for a week & we will be going to Vegas for a couple days (with my parents and sisters)! I have never been to Vegas, so I am excited; plusss, were getting married!! YAY!

Well, Bentley is getting irritated with me! Hehe! Better go play with him!

Until next time.....

Tom's Farms....

....On Tuesday, May 31, we had planned to go to the Ontario Mills Mall with some of Bryan's friends from work. They ended up having car troubles, we on our way back home we made a pit stop at Tom's Farms (so we didn't feel like we wasted a bunch of gas for nothing!) It ended up being a wonderful, family trip! We walked around the shops (got some candy!), ate lunch at the their Hamburger shop, and took some great pictures! It was such a good day! I love all of these fun adventures with Bentley, everything is so different once you have kids. You definitely have an appreciation for little-family trips once you have little ones!

1st Disneyland Trip....

...Bryan & I took Bentley to Disneyland for the first time on Friday, May 27th. We were a little apprehensive while planning because we didn't know what to expect bringing a 4 month old to Disneyland. Luckily, we got some great advice from a few friends who had already experienced this; we planned perfectly & it went very smoothly! I was also a little nervous about breastfeeding while I was there; I am still not a pro at feeding in public. A friend of ours told us that each park (Disneyland & Cali Adventure) has a Baby Care Center; this center has nursing areas, a diaper changing room, a high chair room, and a kitchen. This Center was such a blessing for our first trip (and for our future trips!)

Bentley went on his first Disneyland ride, which was Astro Blaster! He was so interested and curious about all of the sounds and lights, but we could definitely say that he enjoyed himself. Bentley also got to meet Chip, Pluto, Alice, Peter Pan, and the Mad Hatter. He also went in the Tiki Room! He had such a great time, and so did we. We can't wait till our next visit, which will probably be in August!

PS - We are planning our trip to Walt Disney World for Bentley's 3rd Birthday! :D
