Bentley's Mama: July 2011

Bryan's vacation started his week-long vacation last Wednesday. On Tuesday night, after he got off of work we went on a walk along a trail near our house. It was a very nice and relaxing walk, and Bentley enjoyed himself. He also looked so cute in his beanie; it made him look like his Daddy!

On Wednesday, we headed over to Bryan's parents house to visit for a little while. We took our puppies too, so that they could run around in a backyard (since we don't have one, :( ) They had a great time, and so did Bubba! He enjoyed spending time with his Grandma Tina and Grandpa Ronnie! He rode his rocking horse and he played in the backyard with the doggies and his toys! :)

On Thursday, we headed over to my parents house to visit and watch a movie! Bubba had a nice time playing with Grandma and Grandpa, and his aunties Kayla and Haylee. He napped on the floor while we all watched "Conviction" - great movie, by the way! Bubba had such a great time! :)

On Friday we went to lunch with Bentley's Nana. We went to Chili's! YUMMY! Bentley sat in the big boy high chair and enjoyed spending time with Nana. After lunch we headed over to Babies 'R' Us where Bentley got his new "big boy" car seat and a new tool box toy! :) Thanks Nana!

After our busy Friday, Daddy and Bentley decided to sneak in a photo!

On Saturday, I went to lunch with my mom, Grandma and sisters while Bryan hung out with my Dad and Bentley. We went to lunch with Miguel's which was sooo yummy and we brought the guys some In n Out! :) We hung out at my parents house for a little while; my mom and I also prepared for our Sunday coupon shopping! :) Bentley also got to try out his new walker that Grandma got for him! Bryan and I stopped and got some Frozen Yogurt on our way home, and let Bubba have a taste! He loved it! Hehe! Then we went home, got Bubba in bed, and watched our movie "The Switch." (Pictures of Great-Grandma and Bentley will be posted later, they are on my mom's camera!)

This morning (Sunday!) Bentley hung out with Daddy at home for a couple of hours while I went out and coupon shopped with my mom. I got $41 dollars worth of stuff for $12! Love saving money for my family and being able to save for fun things and trips! I also got a few little gifts for Bentley to add to my Christmas stash, as well as a bucket and shovel for our beach trip on Monday!

After I got home, we cleaned the house a bit, did some laundry, and then got ready for Bryan and my date day. We dropped Bentley off at my parents house, and we headed to Red Robin to split a burger, then went and saw Pirates of the Caribbean 4: On Stranger Tides at the $3 theater (we are on a saving money kick! we love it!) Then went and picked up our baby love<3

We are now home and watching the older Pirates movie and Bentley is already in bed for the night. Tomorrow we are headed to the beach for Bentley's first trip there! Tuesday we will probably relax, clean the house and head over to the pool for a few hours. Wednesday Bryan goes back to work; we will be sad, but we are so grateful to have had a full week together! :)

We had such a great time in Big Bear with Bentley's Nana & Papa! We got up there on the 3rd and went to lunch at Jasper's BBQ (they were pet friendly for KC and Kache!) and it was delicious!! We went on a beautiful site seeing tour with Nana and Papa and stopped at Boulder Bay, then went back to the cabin to relax. We bbq'd cheeseburgers for dinner and had white chocolate oreo truffles and strawberry angel food cake for dessert...DELICIOUS. We played a game of Skip-Bo and lots of talks! Just an all around great mini-vacation with Nana & Papa! :)
